The NDA was a required part of the legal process, and I simply couldn’t afford to continue paying for legal representation.

The negotiation process was awful. During the so-called “negotiation,” you can literally see your career being dismantled.

I was given no time to decide. I just wanted to leave the situation behind, so I travelled abroad and left my solicitor to handle the paperwork.

Signing the NDA was devastating. I ended up bankrupt and I’ve effectively been shut out of working in the UK financial services sector again.
