The Silence Ends Here:

NDAs and Gender-Based Violence – A National Roundtable

CBMS Canada (made possible by the Law Commission of Canada) is hosting a national roundtable event to bring together individuals from across the GBV community to explore the deep and often overlooked connection between NDAs and the silencing of survivors. This event will serve as a national forum for dialogue, education, and collaboration, examining how the widespread misuse of NDAs perpetuates harm, obstructs justice, and weakens efforts to address gender-based violence in Canada.

Date: April 28, 2026
