Story 134

I signed an NDA in 2018 after being bullied, then whistleblowing, in a university research job. It continues to ripple, eight years later - for example just yesterday, I realised my ex-boss had stolen some of the research I had shared with them, and used it in an article, and possibly in a new book they have out. I can't do anything about it, and even if there were routes to resolution, I dread encountering them. I can see how they feel protected by the NDA from ever acknowledging my work, because to protest would be to revisit their behaviour which itself remains unacknowledged.
